About Us

Chris is one smart cookie. He survived grad school with minor bodily harm and came out the other end with a PhD in Physical Chemistry. He loves games (both board and video). His other hobbies include watching YouTube videos of guinea pigs, cooking and eating delicious food, working with his hands, listening to Neil DeGrasse Tyson podcasts, and coming up with amazing puns. Chris is a firm believer in better living through chemistry. His favorite astronaut is Jim Lovell and his favorite color is orange.

Micaela loves The Office more than you, so don't even start. She loves going for walks, brainstorming dog names, writing, laughing at her own jokes, buying gray clothing, aquariums, and day dreaming about becoming Margaret Atwood. Her favorite TV shows are The Office, Bob's Burgers, Brooklyn Nine Nine, and The Path. Micaela hated the ending of Lost. Her favorite superpower is teleportation and her favorite colors are purple and gray.

Chris and Micaela met in church. Micaela knew Chris was the one before they even started dating, which is cute or deeply strange depending on who you ask. They dated for almost a year and were married on October 10th, 2014.
